Responsibilities:
- Develop relationships with community partners.
- Build relationships with elected leaders.
- Attend community events to build DFER brand.
- Assist in organizing policy meetings and workshops.
- Maintain relationships with educational leaders.
- Participate in regional policy advocacy coalitions.
- Assist with legislative and policy advocacy efforts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Ability to evaluate policies critically.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Commitment to education equity.
- 1+ years of outreach experience.
- Education policy experience preferred.
