HRx Expertise Specialist, Africa Full Time

• They are looking for an experienced HR Specialist to support both employees and clients in the region.
• The HRx Expertise Specialist will guide employees throughout their employment lifecycle and support clients with HR-related needs.
• The role focuses on fostering positive employee relationships, managing HR databases, and providing expertise to clients on employee lifecycle matters.
• The position is remote and reports to the HRx Manager Africa.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate every aspect of the employment lifecycle for supported employees in collaboration with global internal teams and external parties.
• Provide expert-level support to clients, advising on benefits, international payroll, expense reporting, and other HR matters as a regional expert.
• Manage client relationships in conjunction with members of the client services team.
• Increase employee satisfaction and retention with a customer service mindset.
• Improve client satisfaction by maintaining quick onboarding timelines and adhering to resolution time SLAs.
• Manage and audit all HR records, including personal, onboarding, and job-specific documents.
• Ensure compliance with local employment laws and notify appropriate contacts of rectification needs.
• Be aware of applicable Collective Agreements and work with teams to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with other teams requiring regional expertise, including Knowledge Base maintenance and Product Development.
• Anticipate potential issues, support root cause analysis, and escalate concerns to the relevant teams for resolution.
• Other responsibilities as assigned in the high-growth company environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of regional Human Resources experience.
• Business proficiency in English.
• Strong conflict handling and resolution skills.
• Advanced knowledge of South African employment law.
• Interest in international business and contributing at a high level.
