IBM Integration Bus (IIB) Administrator On z/OS Full Time

Description:

• Configure the SMPE environment for IIB installation and execute SMPE commands (e.g., apply, accept).
• Roll out new versions and fix pack levels.
• Create and maintain zFS filesystems for IIB (excluding BPXPRM updates on SYS1.PARMLIB).
• Order necessary TCP/IP configurations for IIB components.
• Configure IP ports in IIB, including IP listeners at both integration node and server levels for different purposes.
• Manage RACF/security rules for IIB.
• Add/remove IIB user accounts and map them to RACF users with appropriate access rights.
• Perform general IIB configuration tasks, including maintaining component datasets like BIPPROF.
• Schedule and manage OPC batch jobs for maintenance tasks such as SMF accounting, backups, and cleanups.
• Create and configure integration servers.
• Manage configurable services and related security identities, including:
  • JDBC Providers
  • Connect Direct
  • FTP Servers
  • Policysets and Policysetbindings
  • SMTP
  • Security Profiles
• Configure ODBC connections to DB2
• Perform certificate management.
• Report and handle cases with IBM, including gathering materials like traces for issue resolution.
• Configure and manage the global cache, particularly resolving issues in this area.
• Provide user support to developers.
• Investigate and solve problems.
• Handle MQ definitions (as both MQ Admins and IIB Admins).

Requirements:

• Strong expertise in configuring and maintaining IIB environments, particularly in SMPE and global cache management.
• Experience with RACF and security rule management.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP configuration and port management for IIB components.
• Proficiency in creating and managing zFS filesystems.
• Familiarity with configurable services and integration server configuration.
• Skills in ODBC configuration, DB2 connectivity, and certificate management.
• Experience with MQ administration and problem-solving.
• Ability to manage and support developers’ requirements effectively.
• Proficiency in handling IBM support cases, including collecting diagnostic materials.
• Availability for remote work with potential travel to Sweden upon customer request.
• Willingness to cover on-call duties after knowledge transfer.
