- As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our infrastructure, focusing on networking, security, and setting up essential support applications.
- You’ll also manage and optimize our cloud-based providers ensuring they are robust, secure, and scalable.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure primarily on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure.
- Optimize Kubernetes (GKE/AKS) clusters and Docker environments for efficient application deployment.
- Ensure secure and efficient Linux-based networking solutions.
- Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to address basic security requirements and improvements.
- Set up and maintain support applications and tools required by various teams.
- Monitor infrastructure performance, reliability, and scalability, recommending improvements as needed.
- Assist in the potential expansion to other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and future on-premises deployments.
- Support database infrastructure (currently PostgreSQL) and explore new technologies like OLAP as required.
Requirements:
- Strong background in modern infrastructure technologies and a proactive approach to solving complex challenges.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing and optimizing Kubernetes clusters.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Docker containerization.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Linux-based networking.
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity with at least 2 years of experience addressing security challenges.
- Experience with multiple cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Familiarity with on-premises infrastructure deployment and management is a bonus.
- Knowledge of Google Cloud Run and other managed services.
- Exposure to OLAP solutions or similar database technologies is a plus.
- A team player who thrives on working with others to identify and implement the best solutions.
