- The company is looking for an intern to support the growth of their client’s Engineering and Admin teams.
- The ideal candidate will collaborate with hiring managers and the People Team to build creative strategies to attract and hire top candidates.
- The intern will work alongside hiring managers, headhunters, and candidates to ensure the best headhunting experience.
Responsibilities:
- Generate customer invoices and credit memos and issue timely statements.
- Accurately post client payments and record journal entries.
- Manage customer deposit registers and maintain client accounts.
- Address ongoing customer complaints regarding billing or service rendered.
- Make daily collection calls and emails.
- Work closely with Accounting Managers to ensure accuracy in billing and collections.
- Prepare and present a weekly reporting package on the status of accounts receivable.
- Lead meetings with the Sales Team to verify the status of delinquent accounts.
- Inform management of accounts that need to be written off to bad debt.
- Manage incidences of personal and IMSS, and process payroll payments.
- Maintain flexibility to work on special projects and other duties as needed.
- Perform general office work such as copying, faxing, filing, scanning, and handling correspondence.
- Responsible for identifying and reporting any issues with the facility, staff, or clients.
- Responsible for accounts receivable and accounts payable for multiple entities.
- Prepare bank reconciliations in support of financial statements.
- Assist with accounts payable transactions, including expense reimbursement and invoice processing.
- Data entry of vendor invoices into accounting software.
- Perform physical and electronic filing duties as per established procedures.
- Assist with recording credit card transactions for multiple entities.
- Support office staff as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related degrees.
- This is a Professional Internship Program (Prácticas Profesionales).
- Bachelor’s degree Student (last year/semester) in Accounting or related fields.
- Must be an organized multi-tasker with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of personnel.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong sense of responsibility, high personal integrity, and remarkable organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented with a relentless drive to improve efficiency.
- Strong knowledge of Excel, G-Suite, Docs, Sheets, and Gmail.
- Strong organizational, clerical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively interface with all department staff.
- Strong teamwork and ability to welcome differences when working alongside others.
- Friendly, approachable, with strong written and verbal communication skills (English and Spanish).
