Responsibilities:
- Get familiar with BioMarin data processing and analysis process, contributing to the improvement and automation of data processing.
- Design and develop metadata database to support data analysis, report generation, and process automation.
- Build dashboards for the database.
- Serve as a technical resource to study teams for database engineering.
- Research how to set up metadata database for AI/ML modeling.
Requirements:
- Passionate about science, collaboration, and learning new techniques.
- Interested in learning about clinical research, FDA & ICH, GCP, GCDMP, and related regulatory requirements.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient in programming skills in SQL and deep knowledge of relational databases.
- Proficient in programming skills in R, Python, or SAS for data analysis and processing.
- Detail-oriented, communicative, and dedicated to doing a job well.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) and Power BI.
Desired Skills:
- Industry experience working with relational databases.
- Industry experience using SQL programming and database engineering.
- Experience using data analysis and visualization tools.
