Internship, Finance – Labor Team Internship

Summary:

• VSP Vision is on a mission to connect nearly 90 million patients to health data and network doctors globally.
• The Retail Finance Internship offers an opportunity to work with the Labor team managing $400M+ in labor spend.
• Interns will gain exposure to various aspects of finance within a multi-faceted enterprise.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and report on retail and OD labor KPIs.
• Provide insights to leadership on areas of opportunity.
• Evaluate the forecasting model and its impact on labor.
• Look for efficiencies in the scheduling platform for easier store scheduling.
• Build out labor dashboards in Power BI.

Requirements:

• Financial modeling in Excel.
• Data analysis and manipulation.
• Familiarity with financial software.
• Understanding of a P&L.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent communication.
• Teamwork and collaboration.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Facilities to work remotely, including a private or semi-private workspace.
• Access to high-speed internet.
