- Candidate’s primary role will be to act as one of the developers for Client’s Investran platform, inclusive of Investran and all supporting reporting technology.
- The candidate will be responsible for driving the analysis, design and delivery phases of a variety of Investran-related deliverables.
- Person in this role must have experience acting as a developer in delivering value-add solutions in the Financial Service industry (Alternative Investments).
Responsibilities:
- Act as one of the developers for Client’s Investran platform, inclusive of Investran and all supporting reporting technology.
- Drive the analysis, design and delivery phases of a variety of Investran-related deliverables.
- Deliver value-add solutions in the Financial Service industry (Alternative Investments).
- Work with the Investran suite or other private capital accounting & reporting platform.
- Analyze requirements and define scope and deliverables.
- Work with diverse constituency, build consensus, identify risks, and develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Manage offshore technical resources to support the overall development effort.
- Contribute to a positive working environment by building solid relationships with team members.
- Proactively seek guidance, clarification, and feedback.
- Provide guidance and clarification to team members.
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with C#, VSTO, SQL, VB, front-end and back-end development (preference of 4-5 years).
- Experience with Investran application is required (knowledge of the Investran data model, Accounting and reporting hierarchies, transaction types, batch templates, Active Templates, Allocation Rules, Data Import Utility, and Report Wizard).
- Working knowledge of the Investran SDK and API.
- Experience with building data feeds in and out of Investran.
- Exposure to Investran Active Templates and Allocation Rule Manager is a big plus.
- Expert with agile development process and project management tools like Jira.
- Solid knowledge of relational database (SQL Server) design and development (SQL, stored procedures, data modeling) is a plus.
- Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, software design with strong analytical and debugging skills.
- Proven ability to write automated unit and integration tests for front-end and back-end code.
- Outstanding troubleshooting skills.
