Responsibilities:
- Establish, own, and execute a commercial Account Plan that meets the targets across assigned accounts.
- Identify and build positive relationships with decision makers and influencers impacting current or future business with Eaton.
- Understand and articulate the client buying process.
- Identify, engage, and secure revenue opportunities within assigned accounts.
- Understand and resolve client challenges and requirements using Eaton’s portfolio.
- Oversee and align the commercial and engineering response to tenders according to client requirements.
- Oversee the effective handover to post-order project management, product services, and customer support teams.
- Maintain oversight of all commercial engagements for customer success, satisfaction, and vendor performance.
- Be knowledgeable about the client’s business, strategy, operations, and challenges, and articulate this in terms of opportunity, growth, and risk for Eaton.
- Be an advocate for Eaton’s products and services within the client organization and vice versa.
- Report account numbers and be aware of targets and current business levels for forecast and order intake.
- Collaborate effectively with sales and stakeholders at function, country, region, and global levels.
- Provide account-specific guidance and insights to internal stakeholders to ensure they can execute their roles effectively.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher diploma in Science or Engineering, or equivalent data center industry experience.
- 10+ years of related experience in the data center business.
- Demonstrated ability to inspire and coordinate others.
- Strong executive presence and ability to relate well to leaders of target customers.
- Ability to take a leadership role in managing complex situations.
- Must be able to identify and implement new tools and processes.
- Ability to support, lead, listen, and direct when necessary.
