Lead Partner Sales Engineer Full Time

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain relationships with GSI and Reseller pre-sales technical teams, lead architects, and other technical stakeholders to foster multiple Fivetran technical evangelists.
• Interact daily with strategic GSI and Reseller partners, tracking key performance indicators such as partners enabled, GTM activities supported, and technical content created.
• Represent Fivetran as the partner technical liaison, collaborating with strategic Partner Sales Managers to articulate Fivetran’s value and differentiation.
• Assist in communicating and demonstrating Fivetran’s business and technical value to existing and prospective partners.
• Get hands-on with Fivetran and data ecosystem technologies to build demos, hands-on labs, solution prototypes, and joint solutions with partners.
• Address customer requirements, provide strong technical responses, and coordinate with the customer SE team for individual client opportunities.

Requirements:

• Deep understanding of GSI and Reseller pre-sales motions, including discovery workshops, opportunity qualification, proof-of-concepts, and technical validation sessions.
• Familiarity with GSI and Reseller sales methodologies and how they manage multi-vendor, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
• Knowledge of technical enablement, internal training programs, and certification paths for GSI and Reseller partners.
• Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms and data lake architectures (Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, BigQuery, Synapse, S3, etc.).
• Expertise in data workloads, including data warehousing, AI/ML, and Gen AI.
• Experience with data movement technologies such as Fivetran, HVR, Matillion, and Informatica.
• Proficient in interacting with REST APIs, and strong understanding of data infrastructure, security, and governance.
• Technical expertise in databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, and MongoDB.
• Experience with programming languages like Python and SQL.
