Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the scriptwriting team, ensuring deadlines and expectations are met.
  • Create efficiencies within the team, working closely with leadership to maximize creative output.
  • Mentor and guide the team, offering support during challenging scripts or creative processes.
  • Inspire the team with respect and experience to deliver high-quality content.
  • Analyze key YouTube metrics (AVD, CTR, Impressions, AVP, etc.) to inform content strategies and improve engagement.
  • Study and integrate successful content strategies from competitors to enhance story development.
  • Provide constructive feedback to team members to ensure alignment with project objectives and vision.
  • Direct the production team (Set Designers, Animators, Editors, and Actors) through clear storyboards and scripts.
  • Ensure team adherence to project deadlines, maintaining organizational systems for smooth task progression.
  • Participate in leadership meetings to discuss storyboard progress and collaborate on refining ideas.

Requirements:

  • At least 3+ years of writing and/or leading a creative team.
  • Experience with YouTube Analytics and key metrics (AVD, CTR, Impressions).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to act proactively.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and understand project requirements.
  • Experience in improving team performance and dynamics.
  • Knowledge of Minecraft, social media, and pop-culture trends.
  • Experience working with major competitors in the YouTube gaming industry (e.g., Mr. Beast, Prestonplayz, etc.).
  • Experience in other Minecraft/YouTube industry-specific roles (Builder, Editor, Animator, Actor, etc.).
