Lead Underwriting Trainer- Life Underwriting (Work from Home) Full Time NEW

Responsibilities:

• Partner with stakeholders to determine training needs.
• Plan and assist in continuing education for underwriters.
• Facilitate new hire orientation training classes.
• Coach and provide feedback on training delivery.
• Mentor team on curriculum development and resources.
• Support strategic initiatives and meet with project leaders.
• Identify resource needs and assign resources for deliverables.
• Lead administration and coordination of learning programs.
• Analyze learning program effectiveness and recommend improvements.
• Research and develop curriculum on soft skills competencies.
• Lead team members and communicate with senior leadership.
• Research and implement tools and best practices into solutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent work experience.
• Seven years of learning and development experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and motivational skills.
• Advanced documentation and technical writing skills.
• Proven project management skills.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and MS Office.
• FALU designation (preferred).
• 10+ years of underwriting experience (preferred).
• Experience in training and development of underwriters.
• Experience with SharePoint and learning management systems.
