- Contabo is looking for a Legal Counsel to provide legal advice to various departments and subsidiaries both domestically and internationally.
Responsibilities:
- Independently create, review, and negotiate contracts and update and interpret the general terms and conditions (AGB).
- Manage the corporate law requirements for Contabo’s domestic and international subsidiaries, including shareholder resolutions and organizing shareholder meetings.
- Support the compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in collaboration with the data protection officer.
- Legally support projects for the group’s subsidiaries and manage internal legal projects.
- Be the main contact for internal teams and external entities such as lawyers, notaries, authorities, and data protection officers.
- Contribute to the development and professionalization of the Contabo Group as part of the Legal team.
Requirements:
- A successfully completed law degree (Law, Business Law, or a similar field).
- Solid knowledge in various legal fields, especially contract law, corporate law, and data protection law.
- A willingness to familiarize oneself with new topics and challenges.
- Ability to work independently, responsibly, and with a solutions-oriented, structured approach.
- Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written.
- (Optional) Initial work experience in a similar position at a company or an economically focused law firm.
