Description:
- As Cloudflare continues to scale it is critical that we are looking holistically across our infrastructure and business processes to ensure that we are propelling Cloudflare forward as we expand across our hundreds of data centers worldwide.
- You will be working across all infrastructure teams including capacity, asset management, hardware, network and infrastructure operations, with the initial focus being on integration to a comprehensive ERP.
- Collaborate with these teams as well as architects across other areas of the business to create and build an architecture that will carry us forward to $5B.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience working with distributed systems.
- Experience with process and data modeling for large systems.
- Experience in designing and maintaining broadly cross-functional systems.
- Excellent collaboration skills.
- Proven ability to convey ideas effectively through verbal and written communication.
- Ability to translate business needs into requirements, design documents and technical solutions.
- Knowledge of API design standards, patterns and best practices.
- Proven ability to use data to drive business outcomes.
- Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented or functional design.
- Ability to do quick turn-around prototyping to prove or disprove architectural approaches.
- Experience with Core Financial ERP tools such as SAP/Oracle and/or architecting data center infrastructure asset management software.
