Liferay/Ansible Software Engineer-Remote Full Time

Description:

• Maintaining and upgrading Liferay and Jira instances.
• Design, develop, and implement custom software capabilities for a variety of legacy and modernized systems with limited oversight.
• Act as a member of a product team supporting teammates and collaborating with a do what it takes attitude to ensure product and team success.
• Provide improvements to the product(s) being supported.
• Actively participate in release and sprint planning.
• Ensure product quality and timeliness of work, providing advice and guidance, resolving problems to meet objectives.
• Provide mentoring to junior members of the team.

Requirements:

• 5 years with BS/BA, 3 years with MS/MA, or 9 years of relevant professional experience may have been considered in lieu of a degree.
• Must have Liferay 7.x and Ansible work experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of technical experience with software design, development, and implementation utilizing Java, Kubernetes, Linux, SQL/mySQL, Maven, and Go.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience developing RESTful web services utilizing SpringBoot.
• Ability to obtain an FAA public trust clearance.
• US Citizenship or Green Card holder.
