Linux Administrator – Senior Full Time

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain J.D. Power custom solution software
• Operational triage, problem identification, handling requests/incidents queue
• Script, automate tasks, OS patching, migrations and security
• Monitor, manage services, optimize systems
• Support highly available and resilient systems with proactive Disaster Recovery
• Maintain documentation and perform knowledge transfers to ensure coverage
• Participate in on-call rotation

Requirements

• 5+ years relevant experience
• Solid understanding of Linux-based operating systems (CentOS, Ubuntu)
• Ability to install, upgrade and patch operating systems
• Experience with Web servers (Apache, Tomcat, HTTP, SSL)
• Experience with highly available web services in load balanced configurations
• Containers technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with public cloud providers (Azure, AWS)
• Configuration management, Infrastructure as code (Ansible, GIT, Terraform)
• Experience with auto scale technologies (Kubernetes, Elastic Beanstalk)
• Ability to write scripts in administrative languages (Python, Shell)
