LLM Engagement Manager Full Time

Responsibilities:

  • Understand client and project objectives to define methodology, job design, guidelines, recruitment requests, and quality management plans.
  • Lead project teams in a matrix environment to ensure end-to-end delivery against project scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Provide regular project status reporting, including productivity, quality, financial health, and other key performance metrics.
  • Manage and escalate risks, taking recovery actions as necessary.
  • Provide clear communications to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare client deliverables, including data and reports.
  • Lead internal PPRs and participate in program improvement initiatives to improve Appen’s LLM delivery capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of project management experience in a professional services or technology organization, with experience delivering LLM or language data services preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, with a degree in linguistics, data science, or other related fields preferred.
  • Ability to analyze data, draw insights, and develop client-facing reports.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • High level of ownership, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Passion for the AI industry and understanding of AI technologies, including LLMs.
