Logistics UK, a leading UK trade association representing the logistics sector, seeks a remote Major Account Manager to enhance member engagement and drive revenue. Formerly the Freight Transport Association, it supports road, rail, sea, and air industries, impacting over 7 million employees. This role focuses on nurturing accounts and delivering tailored solutions in a dynamic, vital industry.
Responsibilities:
- Nurturing and growing member accounts, driving up-sell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Securing renewals and bringing in new business revenue across our services and portfolios.
- Identifying commercial leads and supporting business development strategies.
- Collaborating across teams to deliver value and strengthen our membership offering.
- Managing accounts with precision—tracking opportunities, solving problems, and delivering insights.
- Representing Logistics UK with professionalism and passion, ensuring members feel supported, informed, and valued.
Requirements:
- A proactive, target-driven mindset with a passion for customer engagement.
- Knowledge of the transport and logistics sector (or a strong interest in learning!).
- B2B sales experience and an eye for commercial opportunities.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- The ability to influence at all levels, remotely and independently.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (especially Microsoft Dynamics) is a plus.
