Manager, Threat Detection & Penetration Testing Full Time

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and support a team of threat analysts and penetration testers
• Provide expert technical guidance on threat detection and penetration testing
• Drive the security vision by overseeing projects aligned with the security roadmap
• Develop and refine KPIs and metrics for threat detection and penetration testing
• Collaborate with security engineering teams to enhance detection systems and countermeasures
• Develop, document, and implement strategies to advance threat detection and testing
• Continuously improve security processes based on feedback from tests and activities
• Coach and mentor team members, fostering a culture of learning and excellence

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in leading Threat Detection or Penetration Testing teams
• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent security experience
• Proven experience in recruiting, growing, and leading technical teams
• Excellent communication skills for developing and delivering security information
• Advanced knowledge of penetration testing tools, threat detection technologies, and security analytics
• Experience with Python, SQL, or other relevant programming languages
• In-depth understanding of operating systems and memory management on macOS, Linux, or Windows
• Strong understanding of threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)
