Mental Health Counselor- Limited Permit (MHC-LP) – Remote Full Time

• The company seeks full-time Limited Permit Licensed Mental Health Counselors to join its team and provide outpatient services through its telehealth program.
• Brave Health offers a 100% remote work environment.
• The position includes a W2, full-time status with a comprehensive benefits package and internal supervision.
• The Monday to Friday schedule is from 10am-7pm or 11am-8pm ET, with no on-call or weekend work.
• The salary range for this role is $63,000-$66,000, based on experience, with additional compensation for Spanish-speaking providers.

Responsibilities:

• Provide outpatient therapy and assessment services to patients through Brave Health’s telehealth platform.
• Develop and implement treatment plans for mental health and/or substance use disorders.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ mental health needs.
• Work collaboratively with clients to help them achieve their treatment goals.
• Utilize telehealth technology and other communication tools to manage patient care.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Counseling with at least 6 months of therapy or assessment experience.
• Valid Limited Permit LMHC in the state of New York.
• Comfortable with technology and the fast-paced, growing environment of a start-up.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
• Must have a dedicated, private workspace at home for patient privacy and HIPAA compliance.
• Fluency in English required; proficiency in Spanish preferred; additional language skills a plus.
• Knowledge of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses.
• Experience in treatment planning and comprehensive assessments.
