Mid-level Backend Developer Full Time

Responsibilities

• Attend daily meetings for project updates and team coordination
• Code, maintain, and test application back end
• Train new team members in programming
• Research latest programming techniques and technologies
• Communicate issues and solutions with manager or team
• Assist in achieving project goals and schedules
• Perform routine site maintenance as needed
• Participate in code reviews to enhance quality and standards
• Conduct unit testing for functionality and reliability

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of backend development experience
• Experience with JavaScript, PHP, Ruby, or Python
• Skills in MVC frameworks: Laravel, Ruby on Rails, Django, Nest.js
• Familiarity with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
• Experience creating RESTful APIs and unit testing
• Experience with version control tools like Git
• Experience with remote repositories like GitHub, Gitlab, or Bitbucket
• Understanding of web development and SDLC principles, such as Agile
• Applicants from the Philippines will be prioritized
• Basic understanding of Software Architecture, CI/CD, and git workflow
• Good discipline in writing clean code
