Mid-Level DevOps Engineer | Fully Remote | Greece-Based Full Time

Summary:

ManpowerGroup Greece is hiring a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer for an International Technology Services Provider focused on digital transformation in the airline industry. The role is fully remote within Greece and involves building scalable cloud infrastructure using tools like Kubernetes, Python, and Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, analyze, and optimize cloud operations processes in collaboration with Network, Cloud Engineers, Database, and Developer teams.

  • Design, document, develop, test, and deploy automation tools using Git, Python, and Kubernetes in the cloud.

  • Design, document, build, and operate CI/CD procedures into cloud environments using Azure DevOps.

  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve any issues in CI/CD procedures.

  • Measure, optimize, and tune system performance and ensure systems run reliably and stably.

  • Work closely with Infrastructure and/or Solutions Architect, Product Owners to implement and deploy cloud solutions.

  • Monitor and support customer cloud environments to ensure availability and fulfillment of SLAs.

  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve cloud environment issues by examining configuration and logs.

  • Implement security requirements enforced by PCI-DSS Certification and/or SOC2.

  • Manage complex projects from inception to completion.

  • Participate in a 24×7 on-call rotation supporting production issues or SLAs.

Requirements:

  • BSc/MSc degree in an IT-related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 3+ years of experience as a hands-on DevOps Engineer.

  • 2+ years of experience with Azure or other major cloud platforms (Google Cloud, AWS).

  • Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.

  • Familiarity with observability tools like ElasticSearch, Grafana, Prometheus, or Kibana.

  • Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash) and automation tools like Ansible or Chef.

  • Solid background in Linux (Ubuntu, RHEL) and Windows Server administration.

  • Exposure to security standards and practices in cloud environments.

  • Proactive mindset, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Excellent English written and oral communication skills.
