Mobile Engineer (Flutter) Full Time

Summary:

Responsibilities:

  • Design and build sophisticated and highly scalable apps using Flutter.
  • Build custom packages in Flutter using native Android and iOS functionalities and APIs.
  • Translate and build designs and wireframes into high-quality responsive UI code.
  • Write efficient queries for core data.
  • Use MVC and MVVM design patterns for architecture and developing maintainable, testable software.
  • Explore feasible architectures for implementing new features.
  • Resolve system issues and suggest new features.
  • Use time and space efficient data structures.
  • Follow best practices in development, ensuring structured and well-documented code.
  • Use CI/CD for smooth deployment and maintain project documentation.
  • Manage code and project on Git to stay synced with team members and managers.
  • Communicate project status with the Project Manager and suggest deadlines for new features.
  • Ensure security guidelines are followed and validate cloud systems to avoid security issues.
  • Suggest new features and enhancements.
  • Maintain software through the product lifecycle including design, development, verification, and bug fixes.
  • Work with the Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure stable app delivery.
  • Resolve bugs reported by the Quality Assurance team in a timely manner.
  • Perform time profiling and memory leak assessments.
  • Execute app verification protocols and write tests for the app.
  • Follow company policies to ensure quality product deliverables.

Requirements:

  • 3-6 years of combined mobile development experience.
  • Proficiency in Flutter for building cross-platform mobile apps for Android, iOS, and Web.
  • Native Android and iOS experience for building custom Flutter packages.
  • Experience with Firebase including Cloud Firestore, Push Notifications, Cloud Functions, and Analytics.
  • Familiarity with Figma for analyzing and viewing designs to build the app.
  • Proficiency in Git for version control and collaboration with teams.
  • Ability to provide a portfolio of projects solely worked on (upon request).
  • Post-secondary school degree or diploma.
  • Nice to have experience with Angular, Bootstrap, JavaScript, Native Android, Native iOS, and Dart.
