Summary:
- This position is an independent corporate contract role, and the candidate must be located outside the United States.
- As the Mobile Engineer with GLOBO, you’ll help drive innovation at our fastest-growing entry point into our services, our mobile applications.
- You will play a strategic role in developing a product that is revolutionizing the delivery of language services and omnichannel communication while keeping you connected to the development work you love.
- Working with and reporting to our Director of Engineering, you’ll be responsible for the continued development of our growing portfolio of iOS and Android applications.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new features and improve upon existing features.
- Diagnose and resolve bugs to ensure our clients and staff have the best error-free experience possible.
- Develop and maintain Unit and Integration tests.
- Perform code reviews of our mobile applications.
- Investigate and document the impact of feature changes and account for any downstream technical issues.
- Manage technical debt, helping our product and engineering teams work on improving developer happiness and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
- 3+ years of experience developing software.
- At least one year of experience developing native mobile applications on both iOS and Android.
- An eye for designing and building exceptional interfaces and user experience.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively verbally and in writing.
