Responsibilities:
- Strategically plan and execute intricate infrastructure changes, including transitions from legacy systems to AWS cloud infrastructure and lift-and-shift migrations.
- Craft and deploy monitoring strategies, and develop automations for monitoring, software deployments, and operational workflows.
- Engage in system monitoring, system backups, incident response, database migrations, database configurations, and cost optimization.
- Enhance reliability and standardization of cloud infrastructure across the product portfolio by implementing robust monitoring, automation, and AWS best practices.
Requirements:
- Extensive AWS infrastructure expertise.
- Proficient programming skills in Python or JavaScript for building automation and tooling.
- Experience managing and migrating production databases with multiple engines, including MySql, Postgres, Oracle, MS-SQL.
- Proven track record of implementing comprehensive monitoring solutions.
- Experience with infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Expertise in Linux systems administration.
Benefits:
- Compensation level of $50 USD/hour, equating to $100,000 USD/year for 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year.
