Responsibilities:

• See acute/urgent care patients in our live text-based chat clinic, including straightforward chronic care cases requiring refills.
• 90% clinical and 10% administrative tasks. Administrative time is spent on clinical meetings, EHR/automation product feedback projects, and clinical operations quality improvement projects.
• Accurately diagnose patients using detailed patient history-taking and provide evidence-based treatment recommendations.
• Write efficient encounter visit notes, demonstrating strong medical decision-making skills, differential diagnoses, and a well-written care plan.
• Close all notes optimally by the end of the encounter, and the latest by the last shift of the day.
• Provide feedback to the AI/ML and product teams on features that improve provider efficiency and accuracy.
• Stay updated on EHR feature updates by continuously training and remaining current on the platform.
• Work closely with physicians in collaborative agreements for states that require it.

Requirements:

• Board certified in Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
• Prior telemedicine experience.
• NP License in a compact state or hold multiple state licenses (licensing assistance for all 50 states).
• Clear medical history (no nursing board actions or complaints).
• Completed an accredited Nurse Practitioner program in the United States.
• 5 years post NP training.
• Digital savviness, excellent typing skills, excellent grammatical construction, and excellent command of English.
• Proficiency in English. Spanish fluency is an added plus.
• Start-up experience in healthcare is a plus.
