Partners in Justice International (PJI) seeks a part-time Operations and Finance Manager to provide operational and financial support for its global justice initiatives. The role focuses on enhancing fiscal and administrative systems to support PJI’s work in challenging impunity and supporting victims of atrocity crimes worldwide.
Recommend, set up, and maintain PJI technology and systems, policies, and procedures.
Ensure use of optimal and secure software and systems, and coordinate with security consultants.
Identify IT/system improvements and train staff or consultants.
Oversee procurement of goods and services per grant regulations.
Assist with scheduling, meeting notes, follow-ups, and travel arrangements.
Identify and contract local interpreters, security, and handlers for travel.
Organize retreats and other events as needed.
Ensure accurate and timely financial transactions with proper documentation.
Oversee payables, cost allocation, and travel reconciliations.
Manage accrual-based accounts receivable and deferred revenue in QuickBooks.
Track exchange rates and donor cost allocations.
Reconcile bank accounts and monitor cash flow.
Develop and modify proposal budgets.
Train subgrantees in fiscal compliance and review reports.
Monitor vendor and consultant contracts.
Manage organizational and travel insurance needs.
Organize and maintain financial files and access codes securely.
File and renew registrations in compliance with international and federal regulations.
Support audit preparation and completion.
Maintain donor reporting schedules and prepare fiscal reports.
Provide financial and variance reports to Co-Directors or Board.
Develop and enforce fiscal policies and procedures.
Streamline and optimize fiscal processes and documentation.
Manage recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of personnel.
Provide training and manage probationary and annual reviews.
Process compensation/benefits changes and maintain documentation.
Evaluate and implement employment conversions.
Identify new institutional funders.
Perform additional operational, fiscal, or HR duties as needed.
Minimum ten years of relevant experience, with five at management level.
B.A. or B.S. degree, or additional five years of experience.
Strong knowledge of U.S. accounting standards, GAAP, and FASB for nonprofits.
Proficiency in Word, Excel, and QuickBooks.
Ability to work independently with multitasking and prioritization skills.
High attention to accuracy and detail.
Positive attitude and adaptability in learning new systems.
Availability for team meetings from 11:00 to 17:00 UK time.

Part-time consulting contract for approximately 12 months.
Possibility of extension or conversion to salaried role.
Pay range: $40–$75/hour or $320–$600/day depending on experience and location.
