Oracle Middleware Database Administrator Temporary

Responsibilities

• Accountable for the deployment, enhancement, and support of databases
• Develops and improves database standards to meet SLAs
• Research technical problems and design processes to meet business needs
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate across departments
• Estimate and document work efforts for technical processes
• Create technical documentation for management and team members
• Test and debug program units and integrate with other systems
• Provide technical support and mentoring to team members
• Offer guidance and reporting to management

Requirements

• US Citizenship and physical presence required
• Travel within the US to client sites a few times per year
• College/University degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years in Oracle DBA, systems analysis, or programming
• Experience with web-based client applications and deployment strategies
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Weblogic Server, Identity, and Access Manager
• Knowledge of Oracle Databases, RAC, DataGuard, Forms, and Reports
• Understanding of SDLC and QA requirements
• Proficiency with MS Office and SharePoint
• Excellent communication skills
