Part-Time Accountant Part Time

Responsibilities

• Manage the accounting system for small business and non-profit clients
• Apply accounting principles and analytical skills to client information
• Implement procedural or system improvements as needed
• Understand client needs and implement Bookminders’ services
• Attend brief weekly meetings with the client to discuss financials
• Track and report client billing information in a timely manner
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, accounting or business preferred
• Minimum of five years of accounting or finance experience required
• Must reside within 45 miles of local Bookminders’ office
• Experience with general ledger software required, QuickBooks preferred
• Excellent communication and computer skills required
• Ability to work independently with attention to detail
• Separate home office space and reliable internet connection required
• Ability to attend orientation, training, and client meetings
