Summary:
- Eastern Kentucky University is accepting applications to establish a pool of qualified applicants for Online Facilitators in General Business for the 2024-2025 academic year.
- The course facilitator will assist the Instructor of Record (IOR) in maintaining and assessing student discussion groups, assignments, and participation.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and maintain student discussion groups, as assigned.
- Provide assessment of individual student group discussion participation and assign grades for each student in a timely manner.
- Grade all assignments of students in their respective groups (discussions, written unit assignments, and speeches) and submit grades in the online Blackboard gradebook.
- Communicate with IOR regarding any issues, potential problems, or suggestions for improvement as the course unfolds.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an AACSB-accredited institution, or 18 graduate hours in the discipline from an AACSB-accredited institution.
- A Master’s degree in General Business, professional licensure, professional experience in General Business, and online teaching experience are preferred.
