People Experience Lead Full Time

Responsibilities

• Coach and support growth of People Experience Specialists
• Update and maintain policies aligned with legal standards
• Guide specialists with escalated employee relation matters
• Manage performance and employee relations challenges
• Utilize employment law to provide expert HR advice
• Participate in execution of annual projects
• Maintain processes upholding Lush employment policies
• Lift employee feedback to appropriate teams for resolution
• Partner with teams to collate feedback and identify themes
• Support management of litigation and legal claims
• Collaborate with People Partners on engagement issues
• Assess escalated complaints and report on results
• Analyze ER data to identify trends and insights
• Support development of quarterly people audits
• Promote wellbeing resources and improve metrics
• Provide expert knowledge of emergency protocols and safety
• Aid return-to-work process for employees on leave
• Support best practices in time and attendance management
• Maintain expert knowledge of policies and current events

Requirements

• 3-5 years direct employee relations experience
• 3-5 years in retail, manufacturing, or corporate HR functions
• Proven experience supervising and developing a team
• Senior level experience with employee complaints and policies
• Proficient in local employment laws and applications
• Experience in developing strong people practices/programs
• Knowledge of coaching, mediation, and investigation practices
• Ability to analyze problems and implement solutions
• Ability to build trust and manage complex dynamics
• Excellent listening and communication skills
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Suite
• Ability to travel up to 20% for work and meetings

• Base salary range: $80,700 – $86,000 USD
