Summary:
- Manage payroll processes for an international team, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Serve as the go-to expert for team members on payroll, tax, and employee administration matters.
- Support year-end closing activities in People & Culture.
- Handle contract management, including creation and amendments.
- Maintain and optimize employee records, compliance documentation, and pension schemes.
- Oversee vacation accruals, time tracking, and overtime management.
- Support onboarding and offboarding experiences, including relocation and benefits setup.
- Identify opportunities to enhance administrative processes and automate workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Process payroll accurately across multiple countries in collaboration with external partners.
- Advise team members on payroll, tax, and HR administration.
- Assist in closing year-end People & Culture processes.
- Manage employee contracts, including amendments and documentation.
- Maintain compliance records, reference letters, and social security documentation.
- Improve processes for vacation, time tracking, and overtime.
- Enhance onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring smooth transitions.
- Identify and implement workflow automation to improve efficiency.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in HR administration, payroll, or similar roles.
- Strong knowledge of German labor law, payroll systems, and compliance regulations.
- Degree in HR, business administration, or a related field.
- Fluent in English and German, with strong communication skills.
- Ability to quickly adapt and implement improvements in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Google applications and HR tools like Personio.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, capable of working independently.
- Passion for fostering a positive employee experience and culture-building.
- Experience supporting international teams in remote-first environments.
