Platform Engineer Full Time

Description:

• Development of scalable and reliable platform technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features.
• Optimize existing systems for performance and scalability.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient software delivery.
• Drive best practices in code quality, testing, and deployment.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience writing code in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, TypeScript, Bash, Go).
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines, with familiarity in concepts like Gradle, basic JVM tuning, and build automation.
• Hands-on experience with CI tools, such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodeBuild.
• 2+ years of experience working with AWS or other cloud platforms, with a focus on basic deployments and configurations.
• Experience in CD tools, such as Spinnaker or ArgoCD, and their role in automated deployments.
• Experience deploying applications to Kubernetes and understanding its core concepts, such as pods, services, and deployments.
• Basic familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform or Crossplane, and an eagerness to grow in this area.
• Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience as Developer: Previous experience as a Java Developer with focus on frameworks like spring.
  • Monitoring and Observability: Familiarity with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or DataDog for basic troubleshooting and performance monitoring.
  • Database and Storage: Experience with databases like PostgreSQL and Redis.
