Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Head of Content and other Content Managers to ensure content plans are executed on time.
  • Manage a team of freelance and full-time writers and editors to create new and existing content across multiple regions.
  • Ensure content is published according to editorial and SEO standards.
  • Become an expert in the WordPress CMS, optimizing content elements, commercial elements, and other on-page components.
  • Contribute ideas and recommendations to the content strategy for growth.
  • Have a strong understanding of SEO and content best practices.
  • Liaise with SEO teams to implement strategies for content optimization.
  • Improve existing content based on competitor and SERP analysis.
  • Source and interview freelance writers and content editors as needed.
  • Maintain the internal content management system, ensuring the content calendar is up-to-date.
  • Contribute to internal documentation such as publishing guides, style guides, and process documentation.

Requirements:

  • Expert-level knowledge of poker.
  • SEO and content management experience, preferably in the gambling affiliate industry.
  • Attention to detail and ability to recognize quality affiliate content.
  • Experience managing a small team.
  • Knowledge of WordPress is a must.
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to work independently.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in English.
  • Proficiency with Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and SurferSEO.
