POS / Kiosk Full stack Developer (Part-time / Contractor / Freelancer) Freelance

Summary:

Foodics is a leading restaurant management ecosystem and payment tech provider with offices in multiple countries. The company is looking for a freelance POS / Kiosk Full Stack Developer to enhance its self-service kiosk system, focusing on hardware compatibility, Vue.js plugin development, and backend API integrations. The role involves troubleshooting, optimizing, and enhancing the Universal Hardware Integration Platform (UHIP).

Responsibilities:

• Work on optimizing the Universal Hardware Integration Platform (UHIP).
• Fix bugs, refine the Vue.js plugin, and improve deployment processes.
• Contribute to frontend development using Vue.js.
• Handle backend API integrations and improve data handling.
• Work on scripting automation for platform updates and configurations.
• Troubleshoot and enhance hardware integration layers.
• Update UHIP.js library and improve command execution workflows.

Requirements:

• Expertise in frontend development using Vue.js, including component architecture and plugins.
• Experience with backend development using Node.js and RESTful API integrations.
• Understanding of hardware integration and communication layers (e.g., WebSockets, command execution).
• Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python, or Node.js) for automating platform updates.
• Experience in containerized deployment and Kubernetes configurations.
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills for UHIP and related hardware interactions.
• Familiarity with POS/Kiosk Systems and hardware SDKs and APIs.
