Responsibilities
- Lead diligence, assurance, and validation of major carbon management projects
- Translate expertise into derisked decarbonization transactions
- Develop strategies and workflows for diligence and validation
- Recruit, train, and coach staff on new strategies and workflows
- Serve as a trusted advisor and key client contact
- Collaborate with internal teams for seamless project execution
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices
- Represent Carbon Direct in conferences and industry discussions
Requirements
- Extensive experience in large, complex capital project management
- Knowledge of FEL stage-gate processes and project value assurance
- Technical acumen in engineering, construction, and carbon market standards
- Commercial acumen in project finance, contract management, and negotiations
- Project management certification (e.g., PMI-PMP, PgMP)
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required
- Experience with confidential information protection and EPC organizations
- Familiarity with greenhouse gas accounting and financial accounting
