Principal Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure Full Time

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures
• Utilize IaC tools to provision and manage cloud resources
• Write and maintain API code for infrastructure management
• Exemplify high engineering standards and make key decisions
• Work autonomously on projects from conception to production
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions
• Contribute to technical and architectural decisions for improvement
• Respond to and resolve production incidents and perform root cause analysis
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a learning culture
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends

Requirements

• Expertise with IaC tools like Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS CloudFormation
• Proficiency in Golang, Java, and JavaScript
• Knowledge of modern development practices and architectural patterns
• Experience with Seed or Series A startups and their dynamics
• Demonstrated ability to learn by doing and contribute to open-source projects
• Strong problem-solving skills with a balance of momentum and quality
• Proficient communication and collaboration skills
