Summary:
NBCUniversal is seeking a Product Owner for their Enterprise Product Team to deliver solutions supporting content development, production, and post-production workflows. This role will require collaboration with business and engineering teams, bridging the gap between them to deliver user-centric, high-value product features. A passion for the TV and Film industry is essential to understand the creative work that goes into content creation.
Responsibilities:
- Define and own overall product vision, strategy, and success metrics for key initiatives.
- Gather and synthesize detailed product requirements, aligning them with strategic product roadmaps.
- Translate requirements into high-value product features for review and approval from stakeholders.
- Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring it is prioritized, refined, and maintained based on business value, technical feasibility, and stakeholder needs.
- Fully document product features in JIRA, with measurable acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate across teams and technical leaders to identify the best solutions for client success.
- Adapt and innovate by taking on additional responsibilities as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- 3+ years of product management experience, gathering client requirements, writing specifications, and managing product roadmaps and launches.
- 3+ years of experience in a role involving excellent written and oral communications, effective interpersonal skills, project management, and formal presentation abilities.
- 3+ years of experience in the SDLC process, including scoping, planning, user story and acceptance criteria writing, rollout management, and identifying MVP.
- Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
