HealthTeam Advantage is looking for a Provider Data Specialist responsible for entering and maintaining provider demographic and credentialing data, ensuring accuracy, and performing audits. Responsibilities:
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of provider demographic and contract affiliation information.
- Process incoming requests for provider and facility network additions, terminations, and changes.
- Validate provider information from external sources.
- Conduct regular audits for quality and financial accuracy, providing feedback when necessary.
- Resolve minor processing problems and escalate complex issues.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Identify and correct data entry errors, reporting issues to supervisors.
- Compile, sort, and verify data before entry.
- Compare data with source documents to detect errors.
- Store completed documents appropriately.
Requirements:
- Associates degree or higher preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum typing speed of 45 words per minute.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Prior data entry experience.
- Ability to compile, format, and produce data reports.
- Preferred: Prior provider data entry experience and health plan experience.
