Provider Engagement/Onboarding Specialist Full Time

Responsibilities

• Conduct outreach to providers after warm transfer from the contracting team
• Welcome and onboard new providers, ensuring they feel supported and informed
• Reiterate contract terms and address any questions or concerns from providers
• Explain Nomi processes, systems, and expectations clearly and thoroughly
• Serve as a primary point of contact for providers during onboarding
• Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with providers
• Provide ongoing support and follow-up to ensure provider satisfaction
• Work with the contracting team for a smooth transition and handoff
• Collaborate with internal departments to address provider-related issues
• Keep accurate records of provider interactions and onboarding progress
• Identify opportunities to enhance the onboarding experience
• Contribute to developing best practices for provider engagement and onboarding

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in provider relations or onboarding in healthcare
• Strong understanding of healthcare provider contracts and processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with providers and internal teams
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant healthcare software
