Summary:
UnitedHealthcare is hiring a Provider Install Representative to manage the installation and administration of provider contracts, including structure and billing setup, eligibility collection, and preparation of plan materials. This full-time remote role requires 2+ years of experience in managed care or medical insurance and offers paid training and flexible work hours.
Responsibilities:
- Creating and maintaining provider demographic, billing, and network contract information within a database.
- Auditing provider loads for adherence to quality measures and reporting standards.
- Recommending methods to improve processes used by the department.
- Ensuring overall provider contract and amendment loading and processing.
- Attending weekly team meetings and collaborating with colleagues.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- 2+ years of work experience in an office setting.
- 2+ years of experience in managed care or medical insurance (credentialing providers, provider relations, medical billing, provider administration).
- 1+ years of data entry/keyboarding experience.
- Experience with reading and referencing medical claims (credentialing of a provider or practice, HCFA forms (1500 Form), UB or hospital claims forms, reimbursement claim forms).
- 1+ years of experience working with UMR’s Provider File System (PFS).
- Experience with Microsoft Word (create and edit documents) and Microsoft Excel (sort and filter).
- Ability to work any 8-hour shift between 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM CST, Monday – Friday.
- Ability to keep all company-sensitive documents secure.
- Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy.
- Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group-approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Data analysis experience within the healthcare industry.
- Experience with updating provider records.
- Experience working with healthcare provider data.
- Experience in medical claims processing.
- Experience training/mentoring peers.
- Currently working within UMR.
