Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to define the scope of QA across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Empower the team to actively participate in defining and refining the QA scope.
- Develop test plans that provide comprehensive coverage at every phase of development and implement review mechanisms for continuous improvement.
- Recruit and nurture a team of passionate QA engineers.
- Encourage team members to identify weaknesses, make gaps visible, and track resolutions in a timely manner.
- Promote automation to optimize resource utilization, reduce testing cycles, and accelerate release timelines.
- Stay updated with emerging tools and technologies to ensure the best solutions for identifying faults.
- Track metrics to measure the impact of QA efforts across various phases of the SDLC.
- Build domain knowledge within the team and encourage continuous learning.
- Cultivate a performance-driven culture where team members take ownership and accountability.
- Measure performance based on business impact rather than hours spent or bugs closed.
- Engage deeply in all aspects of testing, including service testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing, security testing, performance testing, and more.
- Drive automation of service behavior monitoring in production environments to ensure the best user experience.
Requirements:
- Proven hands-on experience in QA automation, API testing frameworks, and mobile testing tools.
- Knowledge of security testing practices, including vulnerability detection, compliance testing, and attack vector validation.
- Familiarity with tools like SonarQube, AI testing tools, and dynamic code analysis.
- Strong analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with AI-driven testing tools is a plus.
- Previous managerial or team leadership experience is a plus.
- Background in scaling QA processes in high-growth environments is a plus.
