QA Lead/Lead SDET Full Time

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of the quality of deliverables, including new features and enhancements.
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to understand requirements and user workflows.
• Identify and address quality assurance process bottlenecks for continuous improvement.
• Craft efficient manual test cases and conduct functional, ad hoc, and regression testing.
• Demonstrate strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail, especially in managing multiple test executions.
• Manage the entire testing lifecycle with a focus on automation, from test plan creation to documentation of test scenarios and cases.
• Stay updated on the latest technologies and testing tools, continuously optimizing the testing process for SDETs.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of SDETs, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in test automation.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in utilizing defect tracking systems to report, track, and resolve defects.
• Proficiency in API testing and performance testing using tools such as JMeter and Postman.
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, JS, and browser debugging/console tools.
• Test automation experience, preferably with Selenium or another relevant framework.
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
• Familiarity with at least one source control system, such as Git or SVN.
• Good understanding of Agile software development methodology (Kanban or Scrum) and the role of QA within it.
