Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, manage, and convert high-potential sales opportunities
- Build strategic relationships with specifiers, contractors, house builders, and merchants
- Develop and deliver a focused regional business plan
- Represent Marshalls at exhibitions and trade events
- Spot market trends and competitor activity for team insights
- Plan customer-facing time and engage with merchant branches
- Contribute to the national Civils and Drainage plan
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience with builders’ merchants, specifiers, and contractors
- Proven track record of growing business through relationships
- Creative thinker with a solutions-oriented approach
- Knowledge of procurement routes and negotiation with technical information
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Ability to grasp technical aspects of products
- Passion for providing excellent customer service
- Keen eye for detail in commercial processes and administration
- Highest levels of timekeeping and attendance
- Driving licence and ability to commute across the UK
