The company is hiring a Remote Microsoft 365 Support Engineer for a full-time, night-shift role in South Africa, focusing on Office 365, cloud infrastructure, and IT support to enhance client operations.
Responsibilities:
- Perform Office 365 migrations and deployments, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Implement desktop solutions and Intune deployments.
- Administer Windows Server environments, managing Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS.
- Ensure IT security and infrastructure protection.
- Collaborate on IT projects and maintain comprehensive documentation.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in IT support, specializing in Office 365, Azure, Desktop, and Server Administration.
- Expertise in Azure AD, Virtual Machines, and Storage.
- Experience supporting Windows and macOS.
- Strong troubleshooting and software installation skills.
- Dedicated home office with a quiet, separate private room and a door.
- High-speed internet with a fibre connection (minimum 50 Mbps upload and download).
- Computer equipment (laptop or desktop) suited for IT support tasks.
- Audio and video setup, including a headset for clear communication and a webcam for video calls.
- Backup power source to maintain connectivity during outages.
- MCSE Certification (preferred).
- Azure Certification (preferred).
- VMware Certification (preferred).
- Cisco Certification (preferred).
- Cybersecurity Certifications (e.g., SANS, GIAC, Fortinet) (preferred).
