Summary:
- Medtronic is looking for a Remote Sales Representative III to sell Medtronic’s products and retain end-user patients within a pre-defined territory.
- The position involves developing and closing leads, educating customers, and providing ongoing support to field sales representatives.
- The role requires remote sales management for assigned accounts and territories, ensuring sales goals are met.
Responsibilities:
- Remotely sell Medtronic products and retain patients within an assigned geographic area or customer accounts to meet sales goals.
- Identify, develop, and close leads for the business and refer internal leads when necessary.
- Provide input on new markets, product introductions, and existing product improvements.
- Promote and establish education of the company’s products and services.
- Manage customer concerns and issues, providing solutions as needed.
- Arrange product demonstrations by field sales representatives.
- Assist in sales planning and execution of sales activities.
- Provide sales support including sales calls, data analysis, and follow-up with sales reps.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, customer/tech services, marketing, or other customer-facing roles.
- Experience in medical devices, capital equipment sales, or surgical sales is preferred.
- Knowledge of sales techniques, relationship building, and business planning.
- Ability to teach and educate medical personnel and peers.
- Demonstrated ability to use technology (SalesForce, SAP, iPad, etc.).
- Experience with hospital, cath lab, and physician settings.
- Proven sales success.
