REMOTE Tax Compliance and Business License Specialist Full Time

Responsibilities:

• Manage state and local tax registrations and filings.
• Monitor changes in tax regulations and update processes.
• Collaborate with Finance to reconcile tax payments.
• Maintain a calendar for filing deadlines and tax payments.
• Oversee business license registration and renewals.
• Track business license renewal requirements and dates.
• Develop a record-keeping system for licenses and filings.
• Prepare compliance reports for Chief Compliance Officer.
• Maintain meticulous records of filings and licenses.
• Assist in creating standardized reporting templates.
• Act as point of contact for tax authorities and advisors.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of tax compliance or business license experience.
• Understanding of U.S. state and local tax regulations.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and remote team collaboration skills.
