Retail Sales Manager – Southern California Full Time

Summary:

HARMAN seeks a Retail Sales Manager to oversee business growth with Music Industry (M.I.) retailers, particularly Guitar Center, in Southern California. The role involves developing retail programs, driving sales, and ensuring effective collaboration across teams. It is a remote position requiring up to 50% domestic travel.

Responsibilities:

• Drive sales growth through merchandising, demos, contests, events, promotions, and trainings.
• Develop and execute tailored retail programs to address account needs.
• Conduct in-store audits and sell-through analysis to suggest improvements.
• Engage with M.I. retailers’ buying, inventory, and executive teams.
• Collaborate with internal teams like marketing, product development, and customer care.
• Conduct training and develop sales enablement tools for the sales team.
• Organize and drive product launches, including creating go-to-market plans.
• Serve as the primary voice for Harman with M.I. accounts, leading QBRs and key meetings.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in M.I. retailer account management.
• Proven track record of executing retail programs in the M.I. sector.
• Analytical mindset with experience tracking metrics and providing data-driven insights.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
• Willing to travel up to 50% domestically.
• Willing to work in a Home Office in Southern California.
