Revenue Accountant Full Time

Responsibilities:

• Perform month-end activities including journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, and internal reporting.
• Actively maintain and review designated revenue and deferred revenue accounts.
• Investigate reporting discrepancies and communicate issues promptly.
• Review contracts and large deals, identifying non-standard terms.
• Maintain and update internal documentation for revenue processes and procedures.
• Prepare SSP schedules for monthly reviews, quarterly audits, and external reporting.
• Partner with order management to ensure accurate billing for all sales orders.
• Contribute to development and improvement of systems and processes.
• Review RevPro contracts to ensure ASC 606 compliance.
• Assist with external audit requests for annual and quarterly reviews.
• Liaise with the professional services team and recognize revenue in compliance with ASC 606 standards.
• Support ad hoc projects, including system implementations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in revenue accounting, emphasizing ASC 606.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to apply accounting guidelines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with Oracle and RevPro systems is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
