Summary:
Angaza creates technology enabling businesses to sell life-changing products in emerging markets. They’re hiring a Technical Support Engineer in Nairobi to provide technical support and enhance their SaaS platform.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support via helpdesk software and emails.
- Guide customers with API integration through public-facing endpoints.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for issue resolution.
- Serve as escalation point for complex technical issues.
- Troubleshoot and coordinate with engineering teams.
- Monitor support questions and improve request handling.
- Maintain support documentation.
- Relay customer feedback to product teams.
- Participate in on-call emergency support rotations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 2-3 years technical support or QA experience.
- Familiarity with databases and SQL queries.
- Experience with Postman and Zapier.
- Experience with helpdesk software like Zendesk.
- Familiarity with project management tools (Linear/Jira).
- Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Team collaboration ability.
- Bonus: Familiarity with Git/GitHub and AWS.
